Countrywide in the news

August so far has been filled with mortgage industry stories. This week Countrywide announced it is teetering on the edge. This comes as no suprise to many analyists who have seen the handwriting on the wall.

I’ve had some conversations with my mortage pro- and his wise words were “The interest rates don’t cause people to default on the loans, bad choices for getting into those loans at the outset, cause defaults and foreclosures” wise words!
