It calls for rebuilding the Hasley Canyon Road bridge over Interstate 5 and widening the overpass to add a lane.
Instead of intersections with traffic signals, the interchange will have two modern roundabouts to improve traffic flow, officials said. New traffic signals will also be added at Sedona Way near the interchange.
Newhall Land and Farming Company provided the biggest chunk of the funding, $26 million.
