Los Lomas off the Calendar

Las Lomas project taken off calendar for environmental review.
Commission Cancels Development Hearing. The public hearing about a proposed land development by the Las Lomas Land Co., LLC has been cancelled.
With no timeline on when it will be back on the table, the public heaing is off the books for now pending the completion of an environmental study.

The affected land parcel is located along the northeastern portion of Interstate 5, just south of the Santa Clarita city limits and west of Highway 14.
Las Lomas Land Co.s application requested between 66 and 237 dwelling units to be built on the parcel.

    Why is this being acted on like it’s inevitable to proceed, it’s a STUPID project. NO NO NO DENY IT DENY IT DENY IT!!!!!!!
    It has absolutely NO positives to it other that to make Dan Palmer money.

    I agree that Los Lomas is heading right down the development tubes. This project has never been a good thing for Santa Clarita.
    It should be very interesting to find out what happens next in consideration of the recent findings about who actually owns the land.
