YOU MENTION ALL THE NATURAL AREAS YOU ARE PRESERVING, YET YOU KEEP BUILDING AND BUILDING AS IF THERES NO TOMORROW… AND THERE WONT BE MUCH OF ONE LEFT WITH ALL THESE UNNECCESSARY HOMES YOU CRAM TOGETHER. THESE BILLBOARDS I SEE ADVERTISING, ” GREAT PLACE TO MOVE TO” AND SO ON IS CRAZY. WE ARE BUILDING POINTLESSLY OVER BEAUTIFUL NATURE THATS ALWAYS BEEN HERE. THE EARTH IS SOMETHING WE NEED TO APPRECIATE BECAUSE ONCE ITS GONE, THATS IT.

    Melody,
I appreciate your comment, though I’d like to clear something up. I am not a developer, I am a Realtor within SCV. I am not involved with any local builders.
I understand exactly what you are saying and can empathise with you many residents share some of the concerns you have. I moved up to Santa Clarita in 1983 when our town was, well … very different from the town we have today. Unfortuanetly, with population comes more housing, people, traffic and overall congestion.
Playing devils advocate … there was room for both you and I, so where does the line get drawn? and by asking this in no way am I attempting to cause any insult or injury to your concerns. Just curious about what further thoughts you may have on the subject.
