Realtors say the darndest things

Those Realtor’s say the darndest things! MLS agent comments and my wacky wild translation of them (for entertainment only and maybe a couple giggles) Realtor’s have comment box’s one for public the other for agent comments, every now and then I see agent comments that defy what the house is about and I always wonder just what were they thinking! In scanning the multiple listings for Santa Clarita, I’ve seen these.

  • Pool sized yard! for the kiddy pool maybe. This is a pet peeve of mine! Why do agents want to say it’s pool sized? So the buyer can come in a spend thousands to get a pool? Pool sized is not a feature.
  • Park like landscape (I think there should be more than grass and a twig of a tree before you call a yard “park like”)
  • Seller has fixed up and spared no expense! (Ummm…. Spared no expense? That’s right! But more like seller has gone to no expense! Ouch!)
  • Don’t miss it! (maybe too many people have missed it-like it’s not getting shown at all?)
  • Country Kitchen (This kitchen is right out of 1983! its country alright! Countrified all the way up the wall with the horrible wallpaper)
  • A dog lives here. So do the land-mines he left outside for the passed 3 weeks - lookout for the piles!
