Blogging, Web Site Maintenance and Real Estate
Hummm…how do I fit them all into one day? I’ve been blogging about real estate since 2004. My first blog was a blogger blog Santa Clarita Real Estate it hooked me in to blogging alright! at the time there were not many blogs about anything specific to my area. In addition doing my own editing for my Santa Clarita Real Estate website, editing my current featured listings, adding my virtual tour links and creating unique content.
My next blog (this one :))Â is on its own server and being a wordpress blog gives me lots more creativity, plugins, tweaks and lots of great tools. For a year or so I’ve had the Journalized-blue theme, a theme that I really love. I started exploring the theme viewer at wordpress and downloaded about 4 new themes to my server, the one I am using now is by Kaushal Sheth so far I am very happy with it.
I recently sat down and decided I needed to review where my blog was listed at and add my site for submission at some of my favorite places. I am happy to say that I was submitted for membership at http://9rules.com/ I got an email back with log-in information… still waiting for confirmation on membership.
I submitted to blogs at Best of the Web, my site is pending review.
My Blog was accepted at BlogExplosion.com yeah!!!
I also went to IndustryBlogs we’ll see how that one works out.
MyBlogLog.com- another fun tool, I’m there so if you are, add me as a contact. It reminds me of MySpace for sure with a real networking flair to it.
I never subscribed to the idea that “activeRain” would be a good thing… something just told me to move on and in the words of fellow Realtor Bob from SanDiegoHomes.com with “activerain agents are feeding the beast and who knows when it will rear its ugly head” very true!
So after spending time editing my sites and real estate sales (being the top priority) I really don’t have enough hours in the day! Â
