Median Home Prices 2007

The California Association of Realtors announced January stats saw an increase of the median home price of 30.8 percent over this time last year.

The median price for a home in January was $531,000, compared to $406,000 in January 2006.

“We’re still seeing price appreciation in the communities that have favorable prices,” said Robert Kleinhenz, deputy chief economist for the California Association of Realtors.
