What your money buys in Southern California
I’ve started this category “What you get for your money” with the town of Castaic, California. Castaic is located just north of the City of Santa Clarita, in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles CountyWith a population of over 22,000 Castaic has many neighborhoods to choose from. The areas North of the lake are generally the newest housing tracts with most of those being built in 2002-2003. The Hillcrest park neighborhoods started being built in the late 90’s most at or around 1995 through 2003. The northern part of town has Hidden Lake and beyond that Double C. The area closest to center of town between Parker Road/ Sloan Canyon and The Old Road has homes built in approximately 1968-1983. There are a sprinkling of new homes in that general areaCastaic features include:Â
- Castaic Lake
- Award Winning Schools
- Castaic Sports Complex
- Local hiking and biking trails
- Horse boarding and trails (no rental barns yet)
- Tranquil setting
- New shopping centers
The following are all homes that have sold and closed escrow over the last 6 months to a year. Just click on the image for more detail.
